Ger Geurts (60) uit Velden in Limburg was tuinder. Vanaf 1980 kweekte hij sla en tomaten, van 1990 tot 2004 rozen. Begin 2018 werd bij hem parkinson vastgesteld. Inmiddels is hij volledig arbeidsongeschikt verklaard.
